ROBIN ALLEN is the author of several novels, including The Best Thing Yet, The Promise, Breeze, If I Were Your Woman and The Starters: Unexpected. She has been featured in several publications, including Atlanta Woman, Essence, Black Elegance, Today’s Black Woman, and Upscale magazines, the New York Daily News, The Pittsburgh Courier, and the Washington Post. She has appeared on CNN and numerous radio and television stations across the country and her work has appeared on several bestseller lists. She has written over 30 feature articles for national print and digital publications about women, relationships, family, business and careers. She grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated with a B.A. in Writing and Media Communications from the University of Pittsburgh. She lives in Atlanta, GA near her two daughters.

Robin’s first book in The Ripple Trilogy series It Starts With A Promise: A Novel (2025) is available. The other two books in the three series: It Continues with a Secret (2023) and It Ends With A Revelation will be published in 2025 and 2026.
